Privacy Policy

Who is responsible for your information
Everyday Convo is operated by Andrej V, based in the United Kingdom. Andrej V is responsible for deciding how personal information is used for this service. For support, privacy questions or requests about your information, email andrej@everydayconvo.com. This policy covers Everyday Convo at everydayconvo.com and its installable web app.
Information we use
You can browse the free conversation collection without an account. Visiting the site still involves technical information such as your IP address, browser details and requests to the server. We use this information to deliver the site, diagnose faults and limit automated abuse. Our conversation-request limiter uses a keyed, daily-changing value derived from the IP address rather than keeping the raw address in its rate-limit table. Hosting and payment services may keep their own technical logs.
If you create an account or subscribe, we process account and contact information, such as your name, email address and account identifier, together with subscription and transaction records. WordPress manages sign-in credentials. SureCart provides checkout and subscription services. Information entered during checkout may be used to maintain the checkout session before a payment is completed. The payment provider shown at checkout handles payment details; Everyday Convo does not store full card numbers or card security codes.
Your personal collection can contain saved variation identifiers, private wording you write, preferred topics, tone and conversation direction. If you turn on “Remember conversations I revisit”, we also store which conversation variations you revisit, visit counts and the most recent visit time. This setting is off by default. We receive the messages and contact details you choose to send when asking for support.
Private wording and suggestions
Saved lines and personal versions are not displayed to other visitors. They are associated with your account and can be accessed by authorised administration or service providers where needed to operate, support or protect the service. Please avoid including sensitive information or other people’s private details in your wording.
Choosing “Suggest for everyone” sends a separate copy of your wording for editorial review and possible editing and publication. It does not automatically publish your private collection. Published conversation wording does not include your account name or email address. Editing or deleting a private version does not automatically remove a separately submitted suggestion. You can withdraw a suggestion while it is awaiting review, or contact us about a submission that has already been used.
Why we use information
We use account details, subscription records and the personal features you request to provide our service and perform our contract with you, including steps you ask us to take before subscribing. Optional revisit history is used only when you enable it, on the basis of your consent; turn it off to withdraw that consent. We also ask for your agreement before you submit wording for possible public use.
We rely on legitimate interests to secure the site, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems and respond to general enquiries. Those interests are running a reliable service and protecting visitors and the conversation collection. We use relevant transaction records to meet applicable accounting and legal obligations. An account or subscription requires certain information, including an email address; without it we cannot provide those features. Optional preferences and private wording are not required to browse the free collection.
Who receives information
Information is processed by the providers needed to run the service: website hosting and backups, transactional email, support email, SureCart and the payment provider used at checkout. They receive information needed for their respective roles. SureCart describes its role in merchant transactions and its processing in its privacy policy. We may also disclose relevant information where legally required or necessary to establish or defend legal claims.
SureCart is based in the United States, and its policy describes processing outside the UK and the transfer safeguards it uses. Other service-provider locations depend on the service involved. Contact us for details of the recipients and safeguards applicable to your information. We do not sell your personal collection or contact details.
Cookies, installation and marketing
Sign-in and checkout use cookies or similar browser storage to keep sessions working, remember checkout information and help prevent fraud. Your browser can restrict or delete this storage, although doing so may prevent sign-in or checkout from working correctly. Installing the web app adds a shortcut and supporting browser functionality; it does not give Everyday Convo access to your contacts, camera or microphone.
Saving conversations or buying Premium does not subscribe you to marketing emails. Everyday Convo does not currently offer a newsletter signup or run its own advertising pixels. If optional marketing or non-essential tracking is added, we will explain it and provide the choices required before using it.
How long information is kept
Account details, saved lines and private wording are kept while needed for your account and requested features. Cancelling Premium does not automatically delete your collection. You can remove individual saved lines or private versions, clear visit history, or reset your personal collection. You can also email us to request access to or deletion of your account information.
Optional revisit history is limited to 100 variations. Entries older than 90 days are removed when your personal data is next loaded or updated; this is not a scheduled deletion for inactive accounts. Turning history off clears the stored history. Resetting a collection does not delete the account, billing records or separately submitted suggestions.
Support messages, submissions, transaction records and technical records are retained according to their purpose: resolving requests, administering subscriptions, maintaining security, handling disputes and meeting applicable record-keeping obligations. Backup copies may remain until replaced under the backup cycle. Some records may need to be retained after an account is closed; we will explain relevant exceptions when responding to a deletion request. Contact us for the retention arrangements applying to a particular record.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access or correct your personal information, have it deleted, restrict its use or receive a portable copy where the relevant right applies. We may need to verify your identity. Some rights have exceptions, including where records must be kept to meet legal obligations.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time. You can withdraw consent for optional features without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Contact andrej@everydayconvo.com to exercise these rights.
The daily pick uses your selected topics, tone and direction to choose a conversation. It does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you. Premium access is checked against subscription entitlement information.
Questions, complaints and changes
Send privacy questions or complaints to andrej@everydayconvo.com, explaining the issue and how we can help. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. See how to make a complaint to the ICO.
Everyday Convo is intended for an adult audience. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information through an account. We will update this policy when the service or its use of information changes and give additional notice where appropriate.
